We are used to renting gîtes and are well aware that material accidents can occur during your stay: breakage, unintentional damage, etc.

Whatever the type of incident, the most important thing to do in this situation is to notify us immediately so we can take all the necessary steps to replace or repair it, for your own comfort and that of subsequent guests.

We would remind you that holiday liability insurance is compulsory when renting our gîte. Such insurance should be included in the home insurance policy of your main residence and must be declared to your insurer prior to your stay.


As the name suggests, this cover applies to any stay away from your usual place of residence, whether for a weekend or a break lasting several weeks. It is an extension of the Civil Liability cover, which gives you full cover in the event of damage caused to third parties at your holiday destination. It extends to damage caused inside a temporary home, as well as outside its walls.
